American Airlines has named MIYAVI as a brand ambassador (full announcement in Japanese here). In his first official role as brand ambassador, MIYAVI made an appearance at the 32nd Tokyo International Film Festival.

On July 24, 2019 MIYAVI performed the U.S. national anthem at Dodgers Stadium before the Los Angeles Dodgers game versus the Los Angeles Angels.
